Submission guidelines
The Journal of Engineering, Science and Technological Innovations (JESTI) welcomes original research articles, review papers, and technical reports that contribute to the advancement of engineering, technology, and applied sciences. All submissions must follow the guidelines below to ensure a smooth review and publication process.
1. Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts must be written in clear English and formatted according to the JESTI template (available here).
- Use Times New Roman, 12-point font, single spacing, and standard margins.

Structure the manuscript as follows:

Title Page (with author names, affiliations, and contact details)

Abstract (150–250 words)

Keywords (3–6 words)
-
Introduction
-
Methodology / Materials and Methods
-
Results and Discussion
-
Conclusions
-
Acknowledgments (if applicable)

References (APA or IEEE citation style)

2. Originality and Ethics
-
Submissions must be original and not under review or published elsewhere.

All papers are screened for plagiarism using advanced detection software.

Authors must ensure that all data presented are accurate and that proper ethical approvals are obtained (if applicable).
3. Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted via the online submission system or emailed to JESTI@mtc.edu.om

During submission, authors must:

Confirm authorship and contribution of all listed authors.

Agree to the Copyright Notice and Ethics Policy.

Suggest at least two potential reviewers (optional).

4. Peer Review

All papers undergo double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers.

Review duration: typically 4–6 weeks.

Authors will receive reviewer feedback and may be requested to revise and resubmit.
5. Publication and Access

Accepted papers are published online in open access format, ensuring global visibility.

Authors retain copyright under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license.

Each published paper receives a DOI and is indexed once approved by partner databases.
6. Article Processing Charges (APC)

To support open access and editorial operations, an Article Processing Charge (APC) may apply after acceptance.

Details on APCs will be communicated with the acceptance letter.
